Obsessions.

We all have our go-to pieces that seem to work perfectly with almost every outfit we put together. mine are above along with some new pieces i’ve added to the collection that i can’t seem to leave the house without …

As you may know, i’ve recently acquired a skull obsession. but other than that, you will normally see me rocking rose gold items or pieces that show off my name.
side note: i keep most of my every day items in colorful bowls that i grabbed from anthropologie. they usually range from $4 - $8 and they spruce up the look of your dresser.

i found this necklace while shopping in Forever21. it was the only necklace near a sale display and i am so happy i found it. it definitely adds a pop of femininity to your look. i often wear it with my denim vest to look less “i’m part of a biker gang“… if you know what i mean.

from the day i started wearing jewelry, i always loved gold but rose gold…now that just takes the cake. you will always see me wearing my michael kors’ “bawse” watch (i call it ‘bawse because it’s big and makes me feel like a boss) and a rose gold ring that was given to me from the boyfriend.

i don’t wear my snake ring every day but it’s still a favorite of mine. i was surprised to have found it at ALDO. this and my skulls make me feel dangerous.
what items do you wear every day?

Long Hair, Don’t Care.

for those of you who know me personally, hair is not my forte. with this said, my usual look is comeouttheshower-applymousse-twirlthefront and boomimdone. but every so often, i will go to get the hair taken care of. it’s too thick to go without a trim for some time. (at this moment, all of my curly hair friends are like ‘YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THICK IS’ - but trust me, i have a lot of hair on my head) i wanted a change but didn’t want to cut my hair, so i decided to go ombre. it’s been on my mind for some time but i was scared for the risk that my highlights would come out insane…like a platinum blonde! *shrieks*

but thanks to bianca at the aveda salon right here in Queens….Queens Center Mall to be exact, the ombre came out great. nothing drastic yet still noticeable. although most people would steer away, i loved that she was around my age (she’s been doing hair for a while). not only did she know what she was doing but she was cool to chat with. she even gave my hair the fringe that no one realllyyy seems to get. (this could also be due to the fact that i didn’t know the term was ‘fringe’). peep the photos below and let me know what you think.

FYI - i do smile…

*i did notice that once i attempted to straighten my hair on my own, the bottom seemed so much dryer. any shampoo and hair product suggestions, friends?

i’ve recently found myself gravitating towards skulls. now don’t get me wrong…i don’t have a collection of skull accessories but the 3 that i have collected so far have suited me quite well. i just love how different.chic.badass it can be all at the same damn time.

what trends/patterns have you been leaning towards as of late?
