Obsessions.

We all have our go-to pieces that seem to work perfectly with almost every outfit we put together. mine are above along with some new pieces i’ve added to the collection that i can’t seem to leave the house without …

As you may know, i’ve recently acquired a skull obsession. but other than that, you will normally see me rocking rose gold items or pieces that show off my name.
side note: i keep most of my every day items in colorful bowls that i grabbed from anthropologie. they usually range from $4 - $8 and they spruce up the look of your dresser.

i found this necklace while shopping in Forever21. it was the only necklace near a sale display and i am so happy i found it. it definitely adds a pop of femininity to your look. i often wear it with my denim vest to look less “i’m part of a biker gang“… if you know what i mean.

from the day i started wearing jewelry, i always loved gold but rose gold…now that just takes the cake. you will always see me wearing my michael kors’ “bawse” watch (i call it ‘bawse because it’s big and makes me feel like a boss) and a rose gold ring that was given to me from the boyfriend.

i don’t wear my snake ring every day but it’s still a favorite of mine. i was surprised to have found it at ALDO. this and my skulls make me feel dangerous.
what items do you wear every day?

The Misfit.

i’ve recently found myself gravitating towards skulls. now don’t get me wrong…i don’t have a collection of skull accessories but the 3 that i have collected so far have suited me quite well. i just love how different.chic.badass it can be all at the same damn time.

what trends/patterns have you been leaning towards as of late?

Accessory Artists Preview

hello wonderful people! last week i was invited to the Accessory Artists preview here in New York. Not only did it involve beautiful accessories but the event was filled with other glam activities such as mini-makeovers and hair braiding. I went with my friends Kaitlyn and Rani (who is running for Miss USA so be sure to check her out here.)

of course we had to take advantage of the mini-makeovers.

we had the option of choosing to do false eyelashes or lash extensions. i chose the former since i can’t even touch my eyes, myself. (it takes days for me to get an eyelash out of there!)

we then decided to get our hair braided. because my hair is thick, i needed 2 people to assist in the beginning! this is pretty normal for me especially growing up.

the finished product!

i definitely had a lot of fun. thanks to Miss Maine (a.k.a Rani!) for bringing me along. wishing you all the best on your journey to Miss USA!! xoxo
